Initial Flight Screening Preparation

Graham Aviation Services at the Salem Airport is conducting training tailored specifically to prepare the student to successfully complete and excel in the Air Force IFS program.

IFS stands for Initial Flight Screening. The objective of the course is to prepare students to successfully complete and excel in the IFS program. Applicants for this specialized training would be newly commissioned officers, ROTC or USAFA cadets who intend to enter the IFS program.

This Initial Flight Screening preparation course is being taught by a recent Air Education and Training Command Instructor Pilot.

The training will include:

• Briefings,
• materials,
• ground ops and
• flight maneuvers that will be taught at IFS in the Diamond DA20C1, the same trainer used at IFS.

Be prepared and reduce the stress of the “fire hose” method of training and the environment in which you will be expected to perform.
